Beard brush made from pear wood with vegan bristles 

Regular brushing supports beard growth and helps maintain a visibly healthy beard with a natural sheen. The MÜHLE beard brush has been specially designed for daily beard care and is suitable for both short and longer beards. 

Thanks to its oval shape, a length of 92 mm and a width of 50 mm, this wooden beard brush sits comfortably in the hand. Daily beard care with the beard brush thus becomes an effortless and established routine. 

The vegan fibre BioniFil® is set by hand into the handle made from oiled pear wood. Inspired by wild boar bristles, it is characterised by high heat resistance and improved moisture absorption. This makes the vegan beard brush a durable and easy-care alternative to natural bristles. 

The pear wood used is PEFC®-certified and sourced from Austria – for a sustainable and responsible shaving and beard-care culture.

The Material - Pear wood
Pear wood is considered to be a special, hard and high-quality native wood. The pear wood processed at MÜHLE comes mainly from orchards in southern Germany whose trees can no longer be used for fruit cultivation. 

The wood used is carefully dried over a period of months to achieve a high degree of dimensional stability. Squared timbers are first sawn from the dried wood sections, which are then turned into handles and carefully sanded. Polishing with fine oils seals the surfaces and gives them a satin sheen. 

The rather light, yellowish-reddish brown wood of the pear tree has a very fine, smooth and regular structure. Under the light's influence, it can darken a little over the years.
